Obituary of Edward John Gesick
Edward John Gesick, age 66 of Whittier, California left this life on Friday, September
27 th , 2019 and was ushered into the presence of our lord.
Ed was born February 23, 1953. The son of Edward G. Gesick and Melba (Cain) Gesick.
Ed’s primary field of occupation in his adult life was that of mill-wright maintenance
mechanic. He spent seventeen years in that capacity with the Truckee-Carson Irrigation
District in Fallon, Nevada. He was also instrumental in the reconstruction of the
Lahontan Valley Dam, also in Fallon, Nevada.
He is survived by children; Dannette Cole, Lacy Seeley (Chris), Amanda Eastwick and
Dustin VanReed.
Grandchildren Launa Hopkins, (Kelby) Alexis, Kaihlee,Kaydence and Jade Constable
Great grandchildren Ryker, Layla, Tyler Cole and Jenny.

Manning and Nicholas Messic, Paige Manning, Nathan, Jeremiah, and Micah Manning.

A celebration of Ed’s life will be held Friday, October 4 th , 2019 at Bell Tower Funeral
Home. 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID 83854 at 12:00 pm. Following at 5:00 pm
there will be a gathering at Bob’s 21 Club in memory of Ed and a pool tournament at
6:00 pm.
