I have so many many wonderful memories of Diana! Singing with the lovely women who loved her so much; going to hear live music and dancing together, with the musician loving our joy at their music; going to Cuyamongue to do trance postures, sitting around the sweat lodge firepit with her after the sacred ceremony; so many 4th of July evenings watching fireworks from the dock; Mother's Day lunches with Rama. And the greatest memory I now take away is our last time together a few days before her death when Jack asked me to watch her while he went into town. We sat on the couch and sang old tunes for over an hour, her body slowly slipping onto mine and her head resting on my shoulder, I'd readjust her upright and we'd start all over again. Finally she fell into a comfortable sleep, I kissed her head and said goodbye, knowing that would be the last time we would sing together on this earthly plane. Now I sing to her spirit who keeps dancing into my heart! with love, masai

What a gift to have shared time with Diana as a friend of many years.... And at the end as one of her caregivers. She will live in my heart forever with love, with grace of being connected to Nature and with so many joyous musical memories we shared.
