As was stated on the obituary, Patricia Joann was born April 15, 1944 in Livingston, Montana. She was raised in the small country town of Wilsall. Patty was very active in school there. She was in the class council, a cheerleader, and baton twirler. After graduating from Wilsall High school, she moved to Billings in 1962. She lived with her brother and his family while attending Business College. That is where she met her first husband Daniel L. McPhee, and they were united in Holy Matrimony on December 31st, 1965. They were always very close to the family and when they moved to Boise, Idaho for Dan's work at Boise Cascade, I was the able to go visit and cook and bake to my hearts content. Aunt Patty even showed me how to sew and we made two very pretty dresses. She and Uncle Dan would take me out to fancy dinners and introduce me to things (food) I wouldn't think of eating. At the age of 10 one is not accustomed to cucumber soup and the likes. Eventually they moved to Santa Rosa where as a teenager I continued to go visit. The times shared were always full of love and fun times exploring San Francisco and the sites. When my husband and I were getting married, Uncle Dan and Aunt Patty made sure my Grandmother Lucille would be able to attend our wedding in Portland. After the wedding of course Robert and I had to go to Santa Rosa to have our Honeymoon with our cherished Aunt and Uncle. Patty was not raised as a Catholic as stated incorrectly She was raised as a Christian. During a routine medical procedure, an error was made and Dan passed away due to medical error in 1983. Patty was always very close to the Lord and out of love and respect for Dan she then converted to Catholicism. Patty was always and entrepreneur. Early when they moved to Santa Rosa, she went to grocery stores and offered to buy their coupons turned in by customers for a fee and they wouldn't have to mess with that. She did very well with that, as she also had a full time position at a Mortgage Company. When my Uncle passed she was visiting a friend with children and was intrigued with the little girl doing stamps. She stated her own business called Stamparosa which she employed many including her new husband and his daughter and family. Eventually they sold the business and moved to Hayden, Idaho. There Patty started gardening and found she had Grandma's green thumb. Her beanstalk grew over 6 feet high. She had beets, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, strawberries and many other wonder vegetables. Including her own herbs to harvest as she truly loved to garden. In 2010 Aunt Patty invited me to go to Washington DC with her to see Glenn Beck and his Miracle on the Mall (Faith, Hope & Charity) gathering. What an amazing experience we had. The prayers and hundreds of thousands of people there. It was truly a blessing to have the opportunity to go with her. Patty took me to all the sights we could get in during our 4 day stay. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Vietnam Memorial, WWII Memorial, the Capitol, Smithsonian and many more. Patty was full of love for her family. If there was a need she was there for you. She worked hard all her life and gave it her all. The last three years of her life were spent in two different homes for her dementia. The Hayden House in Hayden Idaho until April of 2019 when she was then placed in a facility in Pinehurst, Idaho near Kellogg. This made it very difficult to visit as the distance to drive had to be on a day not working. She was happy to see me when I arrived and would enjoy her Pepsi or Cranberry juice that I would bring. She loved her chocolate, even let Sheri (her evening nurse)know it was hers. We would listen to Hank Williams and Elvis on my phone and she would sing with me to them. The CNA's found she would be much happier when she had her music. It saddens me that I was late going to visit her on the first of January and she was alone except for Jesus who took her home. No-one was there to say good-by. I had sat with her two days before, I love you Aunt Patty! I miss you terribly!! You deserved better than you received.

Aunt Pat was always a person I respected love and looked up to her. She brought me a tractor when I was in the hospital at age 4 believe me I remember. Her warm loving eyes and positive attitude and smile was infectious and made me feel so good to see her and to this day every day I was to be able to see her we had a bond that like no other in out heart. She always called me WayneO. I will never forget my Aunt Pat Dads sister.
Pete as Dad called her was a sparkle in my Dads eye. She was around a lot growing up as a kid. She was so energetic I remember her doing a cart wheel at our house at 2229 grand avenue around 1967 for news that really excited her that I wont go into. I was so shocked and impressed by her form even at a MY ripe old age of 7 I just always admired my Aunt Pat.
We visited Aunt Pat and Uncle Dan in Santa Rosa in 1972-73 where they had a pool dad brought us down and of course we were spoiled rotten.
She is also survived by many nephews cousins that were not named in the obituary, Many around Wilsall Montana and Wyoming Arkansas as well. Aunt Pat has many friends and will be sorely missed.
Including my daughters Jamie Harris and Jessica Bishop.
The list is numerous but Aunt Pat is and always be well thought of by all.
She was a total animal lover. She loved her brother my Dad and it was always so awesome to see them get together. We had a reunion at my sisters Niki's her husband Bob Cervenka's house in Idaho my sister Sherry KNOWLTON also drove up From Bear creek area. Dad played his guitar and Aunt Pat Sherry and I put on wigs Billy Bob teeth played wash boards and played spoons in front of the fire pit as Dad played the guitar,. Singing Kowlijah, Mountain and dew and lots of other songs, and we just had a ball.
Aunt Pat bailed me out more than a couple times and I will never lose her from my heart.
I will post pictures as soon as I get my other computer working.
Aunt Pat put me up in Santa Rosa when I was going through tough times and I brought Jamie down one Easter and Aunt Pat hid eggs and they had the time of there life.
I did not get to spend enough time with Aunt Pat and neither did the rest of our family or friends. She has been taken from us but I know she is in a better place with Dad and her parents Grandpa Bill and Grandma Lucille and my mom Carol Bishop and other family members.
I love and Miss you Aunt Pat - WaynO you will always be in my heart!
