Obituary of Tom Garrett

Thomas (Tom) Milton Garrett was born in Wichita Falls, TX on March 12, 1934.
He received Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young man and moved to Modesto, CA. He married in 1953 and had 2 children, Terry Garrett and Sandi Garrett-Kendall. he married his life partner Nancy Guglielmetti in 1973 and became a father to her 3 children, Gay, Zane, and Frank Guglielmetti.
Tom enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, playing his guitar and traveling with Nancy cross country on a motorcycle.
He was faithful in church and service to his lord Jesus Christ and served as deacon, song leader, and soul winner.
He worked as a typesetter/printer for a newspaper and he also owned and operated a print shop in Sunnyvale, CA. After retirement he earned his real estate license and enjoyed meeting and helping people.
He moved to Idaho in 2015 and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Post Falls and loved his church family.
He survived by his wife Nancy Garrett, sons Terry Garrett, Zane Guglielmetti, Frank Guglielmetti; daughters Sandi Garrett-Kendall and Gay McDaniel; sons in law Ray McDaniel and Jeff Kendall; daughter in law Linda Garrett; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
