Hi Dad, it is getting cold again and I cannot believe it has almost been a year. I miss you every day and think of you daily. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. 5 months Dad, and all I still want is to have you back. I miss you so much, every day I think of you, and hope you are free from pain. I often sit and think about your final days with us, wondering if you knew that we were all there for you, and how much you are loved. I play certain things over in my mind and wonder "what if"? My heart has hurt so much since you took your final breath, to see you there, not breathing has been the worst moment in my life. I know you had to be at peace, and that helps me get thru the bad moments, but it does not change the fact that I need and want you back with us. I love you Dad and will never let your memory die.

Been thinking about you a lot lately. March 19, 2012 was four months since you left us, I was sitting on the beach of the Salmon River fishing and I looked up at the sky and seen the prettiest group of clouds I had ever seen. It was raining and a bit cold, but I was instantly warmed with thoughts of you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, but that day, I could hear your voice and your laugh. Dad, not a day has gone by that I have not thought about you since you passed away. My heart aches to see you again. I miss you so much. I am trying to be strong but some days the pain is so bad, I don't even want to get up. I want it all to be a bad dream. Over the past 6-7 years I shared a lot of cups of coffee with Bud at the Owl Café. I will always remember his laugh when he heard a good story or joke.
