Obituary of Sharon Ward

Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sharon Marie Ward July 11, 1964 - July 3, 2020 Sharon was born in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Charles and Phyllis Stieglitz and grew up in the family home in Richardson, TX graduating from L.V. Berkner High School in 1982. Sharon served in the U.S. Navy and afterwards, moved to Seattle and eventually Bellingham, earning her Bachelors in Accounting from Western Washington University. Coeur d’Alene soon became her home and she knew she’d found ‘her place’. She met and married the love of her life there, Travis Ward and they enjoyed some wonderful years together. She lived her life with joy and adventure, and a sense of gregariousness and giving that were her hallmarks. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and dearly loved her Maine Coon cats always making sure they were well cared for. She left us way too soon and will be dearly missed but we are comforted knowing her strong faith has found its resting place with God. Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Travis Ward and her mother, Phyllis. She is survived by her father, Charles, and her sister, Sherry Rizzuti (Randy) and her much loved nephew, Ryan. A private internment will take place at the VA Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington. Contributions may be made in her honor to a charity of your choosing. Friends and family may share memories and sign her online guestbook at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com
