Linda Lee Cooper 9/16/1942-2/13/2021 On February 13, 2021, Linda Lee Cooper passed away peacefully in her sleep, she was 78 years old. Linda was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and lived in the surrounding areas until she moved with her husband, Jerry Cooper, to Post Falls, Idaho in 2003. Linda spent many years working her way up at the Fluke Corporation, spending most of her career as a programmer. She exited the corporate world in the 80’s and started her own commercial window cleaning company, servicing the Anacortes and Mt. Vernon area and enjoyed a very loyal customer following. This gave her the opportunity to enjoy everything she loved about the PNW; the San Juan Islands, boating life, and the long summer days. It was the rainy Winter and Spring seasons that she tired of, and led her to move with Jerry, to Post Falls Idaho where they could get the best of both worlds. Linda had many talents; after retiring, she stayed busy in her garden, always growing the biggest crop of tomatoes that she shared with their neighborhood friends. She loved to cook and find new recipes where she could use the vegetables harvested from their garden. Linda always had the most beautiful hanging baskets overflowing with bright brilliant colors. She loved interior design and was always refreshing their home and calling on Jerry to help her rearrange the furniture. She was a Virgo through and through; always tackling every task to perfection. Linda loved travelling with her husband and family, especially if it included a casino and nearby hotel with a poolside room. She had a magic touch when it came to playing slot machines and lady luck was generally on her side. Many of their trips were comped with reduced rate rooms and food vouchers where Linda would take full advantage of the “all you can eat” crab and seafood bar. This was the highlight of her trips, bringing her much happiness. Linda was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma, leaving a hole in the hearts of all who loved her. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gerald (Jerry) Cooper; her brother, Tom Grant; her three children, Patty Strauss (Mike), Martin Van Dyke (Jen) and Michele Klumb (Mike); two step daughters, Laura Scott, (Stephen), and Lisa Cooper-Hibler (Rob). In addition to her children, Linda is mourned by her 14 grandchildren; Jason, Marcee, Danyelle (Scott), Nicole, Ashley (Chris), Brandon Klumb, Brandon Kyle (Kasey), Courtney, Brad, Jake, Stephanie (Seth), Kristen (Chris) Kelsey, and Haley; as well as her 6 great grandchildren, Colin (Amanda) Karley, Bubba, Riley, Jesse and Jaxson, and 1 great-great grandchild, Leo. She will be dearly missed. A Remembrance of Life will be held at a later date.
