Obituary of Katheryn Harding

Katheryn Marie Harding (88) of Coeur d' Alene passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Kootenai Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1924 in Filer, ID to Grover & Cora Beem. Katheryn was a hard worker and loved the time she got to spend with her families and friends. She raised 2 families and instilled a work ethic in each of her children. She worked for BLM in Southern Idaho for years after which moving to Burley for a couple years as her late husband, Merle, completed his Master's Degree in Engineering. They moved to Coeur d' Alene in 1962, where she was very active in golf and bridge. She is survived by her 2 sons, Bill Shouse of Plattsburg, NY and Lewis Harding of CDA, 2 daughters, Janet Roderick and Christine Harding, her sister, Margaret Ann Behrens, a few grand-kids and a number of great grandchildren. Katheryn was preceded in death by her husband, Merle, son, Frayne Robert Shouse, sister, Lucille Lloyd and Brother Isaac Beem. Thank you for all the memories and love you constantly showed us, Mom. We love you and will always remember you. There will be an inurnment for Katheryn at Forest Cemetery in the spring. There will be no services at this time. Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls is in care of the arrangements.
