At a time when California transplants were frowned upon in this area, Ruthie didn't hesitate to welcome my husband and I into the area and of course, to quickly recruit us into helping her on Ronald Reagan's campaign. Thanks to her we were able to make the contacts needed to stay and make a new life for ourselves here in Coeur d'Alene. Years later, upon Reagan's death, Ruthie invited me to travel with her to California for Reagan's funeral. I feel so blessed to have known Ruthie over all these years. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. Char

As a young woman, Ruthie made a tremendous impact on my life. I worked with her in Senator McClure's office, and I continue to cherish this endeavor and LOVED working with her.
