Obituary of COLE JAMES WILBUR EHLENFELDT
Please share a memory of COLE to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cole James Wilbur Ehlenfeldt of Post Falls, Idaho was welcomed home by Jesus on May 22, 2021 at the young age of 21.
Coley Boy was born July 21, 1999 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Charles Robert Ehlenfeldt & Kara Joy Leonard. He attended the Post Falls School District where he met his best friend, Seth Wilson. Coley was a wrestler in his childhood on Team Real Life and played for the North Idaho Highlanders rugby team in his adolescence. As an adult, he worked in construction including building the new Rams Stadium in LA.
Most recently he enjoyed working for PSP Enterprises doing seal coating. No matter what Coley was doing in life he was always the hardest worker on the crew, and you could find him with a smile on his face.
Coley was the baby of the family and is loved to the ends of the earth by his mother Kara, father Charles, brothers Michael and Kristopher – and Kristopher’s wife Kylie, sister Meggee, and Grandpas Wilbur Leonard and Robert Ehlenfeldt. He was a wonderful uncle beloved by his niece, Khloe, and nephews, Cash and Karter. Coley spent several years with his sweetheart, Venessa Reis, with whom he shared the joys of parenthood for their beautiful daughter, Mia Joy.
From camping in the deep snow of the CDA Mountains to water skiing on the Spokane River and Lake Roosevelt, Coley would be found with a light in his eyes that never faded. He loved being outdoors and naked was his preferred attire. Cole also had a love for 4wheeling, shooting, and country swing dancing.
He was blessed with being wonderful at everything he tried and had the best heart. Cole was a kind, and caring young man, who would help anyone who needed a hand. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Cole is preceded in death by his Grandmothers Colleen Ehlenfeldt and Bonnie Lou Damiano, and his aunt Barb Damiano.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Bell Tower Funeral Home: 3398 E Jenalan Ave, in Post Falls. Proceedings to follow at his family home.
