We just found out about Aletta's passing. Wish we had known sooner. Sammie is blessed to have got to have her "Gramma Aletta" babysit her when she was little. I was lucky that Chuck and Aletta accepted Sam into their family, even though she was not really related. She was very sad to hear that Aletta was gone to "heaven". Our prayers are with the Hoard family.

I was so sadden to hear of Aletta's passing. I knew her daughter Brenda was on her way home but it wasn't until later in the day that I found out why. My wife & I first met Aletta in Okinawa Japan in the summer of 1972. We soon became very good friends which carried over into our transfer to Las Vegas Nv. We were together again for another few years but lost contact once her husband & I retired from the Air Force. It was only acouple years ago that we reunited with Aletta and her family. Our Dear friend your in God' hands now but you will remain in our hearts forever.

I will never forget Aunt Aletta's funny story she shared when she was at my house. I won't post it because while I found it hilarious and she made it so funny, it may not seem appropriate. ;-) Her strength will always be a part of my memory. I know I didn't get to see her a lot, she will never be forgotten. Uncle Charles, Brenda, Beverly, Carma, and Richard - I am thinking about you!!! Mother and I were so surprised and saddened to hear of Alettas passing. Although we don't see much of each other we are family and it always leaves a whole in our hearts when we loose a member. I remember when Aletta and Chuck were first married and came to our house to visit. They were so happy--I was 13 and very impressionable. Please accept our condolence and may God's love nurture you and heal your pain.
