On Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, Gregg J Cloward, passed away in his home at the age of 64 years old. Gregg was born on June 19th, 1957, at Salt Lake City Memorial Hospital, to Don Jack Cloward and Jan Smith.
Gregg Loved the outdoors, anytime of year. He spent his free time fishing, swimming, snorkeling, snowmobiling, and skiing. He loved hiking and camping. He always had a smile and loved practical jokes, He loved campfires in his own backyard, in the summertime. He was kind and caring, and he would help out anyone in need.
Gregg loved his family, with his wife Doralyn, and their four children and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Gregg was preceded in death by his Father Don Jack Cloward, Mother, Jan Smith, His brothers Bret Allen Cloward, his other brother, Kurt Steven Cloward, his sister Cathy C Hayes.
He is survived by his wife Doralyn Rae Cloward, his four children, Vanessa Jayne Beck, of Tacoma, Samantha Holly Cloward, of Tacoma, Richard Matthew Cloward with his wife Kimberly Guthrie Cloward of Rathdrum, and Tarah Jo Cloward of Rathdrum along with his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His Sisters Christie Cloward Waylett, and Angle Hartley, Several cousins, nieces and nephews. And his Aunt Beverly and Uncle Kieth Neilsen.
Gregg served as president of the young men for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He worked several jobs throughout his life. He worked in the oil fields, he worked as a press operator, and set up press machines. His last job was a CNA at Life Care Center in Sandpoint ID before he lost his job due to Alzheimer’s.
Gregg will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread in a memorial Garden made for him by his family. There will be no formal services. To honor Gregg’s memory plant a tree or a plant in his name.
