Obituary of Arleen Shawn Hepner

Arleen Shawn Hepner 59, was born on Sept. 5, 1961, to Arlo J. Clayburn and Nadeen Clayburn (McJunkin) in Jackson Hole, WY. After the divorce of her parents in 1968, Arleen moved to Rock Springs, WY. where she grew up and went to school. She received her G.E.D. later in life. In 1977 at the age of 16 Arleen met and fell in love with Gilbert Martinez. They didn’t marry but together they had a daughter, Sarah l. Franzen (Stuker). In 1979 Arleen met and married Robert E. Hepner in Saratoga, WY. From that marriage they had a son, Bow D. Hepner and a daughter, Sherry J. Hepner before divorcing in 1984. The next few years Arleen moved several times throughout Wyoming and Idaho. Then eventually moved to Oklahoma City, OK. in 1990 and continued to raise her family. Arleen worked in retail and warehouse doing general labor. Arleen lived in Oklahoma City until June of 2002 when she moved to Sandpoint, ID. to be closer to family and friends. She worked in retail and as a caregiver for a brief time. Arleen retired in 2013 due to health problems and moved to Coeur d’ Alene, ID to be with her daughters and grandkids where she resided until her passing. Arleen is survived by her daughter, Sarah Stuker (Shawn) of CDA, ID, son Bow Hepner or New Castle, W., daughter Sherry Hepner (Steven) of CDA, ID. Grandchildren, Shilah Watts, Isaiah Watts, Christian Cornejo and Ishmael Cornejo, all of CDA, ID. She is also survived by her stepmother, Patricia Clayburn of Sandpoint, ID, brother, Chris Clayburn (Kelly) of Three Forks, MT, brother Casey Clayburn (Jolyn) of Kootenai, ID. Arleen is preceded in death by her father, Arlo J. Clayburn, her mother, Nadeen McJunkin, sister, Melissa Veach, and brother Robin Clayburn. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hickory Park, 812 Hickory St. Sandpoint, ID 83864 on Sept. 5, 2021, at 2:00 PM. (Potluck).
