Alene Pugh, 92, of Post Falls, Idaho went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ August 30, 2021. Born in Delaware, Arkansas, she is the daughter of James (Sam) and Carrie (Parsons) Buchanan. She married Dolton H. Pugh, son of William and Lela (Nimmo) Pugh, of Turlock, California on November 4, 1946 in Courtside, Arizona. They resided in Stockton, California throughout most of their marriage. After Dolton’s death, Alene has resided in Post Falls, Idaho.
Alene leaves behind two sons, Jimmy Pugh and Berna Catallo of Lodi, California and Robin and Fran (Gamble) Pugh of Athol, Idaho. She was very proud of her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also, surviving her is her brother Dale Buchanan of Oklahoma. Preceding her in death are spouse Dolton, grandson Zachary of Lodi, and brothers Arvel Buchanan and Alvin Buchanan both of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be September 8 from 9 am to 12 noon with graveside service following at 1 pm at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California. A gathering of those attending will follow the service at 15200 Curry Avenue, Lodi, California. Also, a Celebration of Alene’s Life will also be on Saturday, September 11 at 2 pm at 15200 Curry Avenue, Lodi.
Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho and Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, California are in charge of arrangements.
