Obituary
Obituary of Carl William Howald III
Please share a memory of Carl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carl William Howald III, May 18, 1954- September 3, 2021. Carl celebrated his life married to his Jr High sweetheart Pam for 50+ years. He loved his children. Carl 4 & Julie, Jeff & Kris, Jenny & Darren and Tina & John. He knew our grandchildren were the best playmates. Carl 5 & Julie, Collin & Savannah, Hannah & Lucian, Cameron, Haley, James, Jordan, Sophie, Jeffers, Hunter, Cooper and Porter. And to his delight, our 3 great granddaughters, Leela, Maya & Henley.
Thoughts of him will always include his smile, his loud laughter, his 5-alarm chili, and the occasional off-color email. He laughed with his dad and loved to make his sister, Carla, laugh. He loved the outdoors, animals, Christmas lights, woodworking, the 4th of July, and cherry pie. His treasures in this life were Pam and his eternal family.
He taught us to value faith, each other, a strong work ethic, honesty and to “never sweat the small stuff.” Everywhere he went, he made friends, lifted spirits, and shared a smile. The world is lonelier without him here.
