John W. Mack (60) of Coeur d' Alene, passed away Tuesday, December, 13, 2011. He was born December 28, 1950 in Kellogg to Albert & Fern (Baxter) Mack. John spent his childhood in Pinehurst until the family moved to CDA in 1965. He attended CDA high School and after graduating in 1970, he attended North Idaho College. He was married to Doreen (Schmeling) Mack in 1972. In 2002, he was married to Christine Brochier. John opened and operated John's Body Shop in Post Falls for over 25 years. He was known throughout the community as a vibrant, outgoing, hardworking, friendly person. John was a loving father, brother and son. John was always a very fun loving, adventurous father who's stories always captivated his children and others around him. He is survived by his four children, Brenda Mack, Lisa Mack, Shad Mack and Dillan Mack, two sons in law, Kevin Fosback and Pete Kaplowe, and soon to be daughter in law, Katie Ward. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, Sharry & Larry Crockett and Helen & Steve McCormick as well as brother, Larry and Deanna Mack, and numerous nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Fern Mack, his sister, Janet Manderville, and nephew Darin Crockett. Private family graveside service will be Thursday, December 22 with a memorial service Thursday, December 22 @ 2pm at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, 3398 E. Jenalan Avenue.
