Obituary of Dolores Elaine Smith

Dolores Elaine Smith (83) born on the 7th of July, 1938 in Scranton, PA to Ludwig of Poland and Anna of Pennsylvania, passed away on the 17th of November, 2021 at Kootenai Health of Covid-Pneumonia. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Dolores resided in Post Falls, ID for the last 22 years. She moved from Glen Mills, PA. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church located in Post Falls, ID and a Third order Franciscan. Dolores grew up in Scranton, PA. She attended West Scranton High School. She married her first husband, Richard N. Davis in Scranton, PA in 1960. She then married her second husband, Francis J. Smith in Media, PA in 1976. Dolores worked for the US Department of Defense as a Contract Administrator for the Defense Contract Administrative Services where she retired from in 1995. Her dedication to her family and the Catholic Church is what defined her. She enjoyed spending her time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted Catholic and had a zeal for expressing her faith to others. She enjoyed exercising with her friends at the Post Falls Senior Center and her girlfriends whom she loved to exercise, pray and play cards with. Dolores is survived by her children David R. Davis (Dianne) of Platte City, MO; Lori A. Wilson (Scott) of Post Falls, ID; Laurie Lefkowitz (Jeff) of Norwood, PA., her brother Eddie Sunday and many nieces and nephews. Dolores grandchildren are: Anna Davis, Lydia Davis, Teresa Wilson, Madeline Sorn (Sak), Matthew Wilson (Monica), Joseph Wilson, Michael Wilson, David Wilson, Judy Lefkowitz, James Lefkowitz and Kevin Lefkowitz. Her great grandchildren are: Victoria Wilson, Charles Wilson, Adrian Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Leon Wilson and Ethan Sorn.
