Obituary of Shawn Dale Singer

Shawn Dale Singer, of Hayden, ID passed away at the age of 36 late Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Shawn was born July 13, 1985 to Cindy and Scott Singer. He was their first-born son. He loved his parents very much. He grew up playing with his brothers, Chris, Scotty, and Shandon while they lived in Montana. Shawn graduated Sidney High School in 2004. He moved to Coeur d’Alene, ID in 2006 and worked in landscaping. In 2011 he welcomed his son Kaden into the world. Sports came easy to Shawn; riding bike, ice skating, skiing, roller blading, skateboarding and basketball. He started playing basketball at 4 years old, at 5 years old he could do over 100 free throws. He won medals for the most free throws in a contest 3 years in a row. He joined a traveling basketball team in grade school. In Junior high, he joined the Sidney Eagles and played throughout High School. He was a great player and absolutely loved the game. Shawn loved hanging out with Kaden. They loved fishing, going to the skate/bike park, watching him race his bike, Go Kaden! They loved going to Uncle Scotty’s, eating pizza, seeing the animals at Leilanie’s, and having overnights and swimming at the motel. Shawn loved Kaden so much. Shawn met his spankles, Leilanie Armstrong in 2015 and loved hanging out with her and the animals. They had a very special relationship that only the two of them would understand but the love they had for each other was irreplaceable. Shawn is survived by his son Kaden Scott Singer and Ex-Wife Jennifer: his mother, Cindy Singer: his brothers, Chris Singer, Scotty Singer and Shandon Singer: His love, Leilanie Armstrong, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins and his best friend Josh Bishop. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Singer, his Grandma Rose Mary Williams, Grandpa, Reinhold Mische, Grandfather Dale Singer. Step Grandma Marie Mische and Step Grandpa Ben Willams. The family welcomes friends to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at The Cause Church located at 1010 E. Sherman Ave Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814
