Obituary of Linda Dianne Talvitie

Linda Dianne Talvitie (February 12, 1949- January 8, 2022) Linda will be remembered as a very caring and compassionate person. I know how fortunate I was to be married to her for 54 years. -Arthur You know you’re a lucky kid when your mom tells you that when she was growing up, what she wanted most was to be a mom. She showed us her love every day. -Tonya and Travis Mrs. Linda Dianne Talvitie passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 of natural causes. Linda was born in Cloquet, Minnesota on February 12, 1949. Linda earned her cosmetology license and worked at salons in St. Paul, Minnesota. Later in life, Linda established and ran her own childcare business in North St. Paul, Minnesota. Linda also had a passion for animals. She dearly loved her two dogs she left behind, Holly and Daisy. On March 18, 1967, Linda married Arthur Larry Talvitie. They are the proud parents of Tonya Lynn and Travis Arthur. Linda is survived by her husband, Arthur Talvitie; her daughter, Tonya Lange, son-in-law Sam Lange, and grandson Evan Lange; her son Travis Talvitie; and her siblings (Nancy, Lolita, John, and Doris), nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, grandparents, aunts and uncles, her sister Darla, and dear friend Berta. It gives us comfort to know that Linda is resting peacefully with others she has loved. The family appreciates the thoughts and condolences. They are honoring Linda’s wishes by declining a memorial service.
