You came into this family broken from the ravages of your past. You became an instant mother and friend. You were there for my niece and nephews in every way possible. You loved them as much as anyone ever could, I thank you. My brother, a broken man till you wrapped him in your love and made him whole again, my brother found his best friend.You along with Romans 12:8-21, helped him become the Honorable man he is today, I thank you. Your ferocity and protectiveness of this family is unparelled. My children needed an Aunt and you were there, my mom wanted another girl and you became my baby sister, you let her in,I thank you. Your baking and cooking talents are amazing. We gained more than weight when we sat down to eat a meal with you. Your laughter was all consuming and your smile contagious. Seriously or Really was what you said when you came upon careless people driving or just careless people in general. I can hear you now. Your snorts as you laughed hysterically, then OOPS!!!! Well i will keep that our little secret. All the little things, Idaho Spuds or a little card, just because. You knew me so well, couldn't hide anything from you. Relentless wasn't the word, Something not right, you found out the why's and reasons, LoveYou. My Little Broken Sister, I can only hope that you knew how much I truly loved and needed you, I still do,maybe you'll see as you look down from heaven what you truly meant to me. Sippin iced mochas, listening to Simon and Garfunkle, Dean Martin, Lobo and Bread, just gabbin away, laughin and livin. Surprising Steve for lunch, just some of the fun things we used to do.Playing Skip-Bo or Phase 10. Watching the guys play playstation, These were the Greatest times, betting who's football team was gonna win.Just hanging out drinking smirnoffs raspberry, buying some wine that was disgusting. Watching you create masterpieces with your cakes, you cooking and us just talking or sharing recipes or ideas. Our lives became so entwined. Your Hugs were real, almost rib breaking at times. You were true, you stood for everything real in a friend and in being my baby sister, I thank you. With all the tragedies you and Steve faced, You were both Triumphet in becoming survivors instead of victims. My Broken Little Sister, I truly miss our talks, I knew the vunerable you, I just wish you would have trusted us to get you through this. Dearest Teresa,I have been sitting here for days thinking about what to say, but there are no words. There are many story's I could share but not enough space. I chose this picture because in our family, this picture has been treasured at least by us three, and our moms. There are a couple of pictures I took when we got together in our twenty's were we are in the same order you, Donna then Me, why youngest to eldest? I remember a time we were together all the time, we used to have so much fun. That time we went and got our hair dyed and mine turned out orange. We were suppose to go see the outsiders but I would not go until I washed my hair at least three times, I had time to go to your house and wash it once then, we saw the outsiders three times in a row at the Garland. I still own that movie and when I watch it I think of you, and if I watch it with anyone I tell them the story above. We were pretty young then what 14? When we were younger, seemed like you would be there and then gone due to moving around, but when you moved back to Spokane we were inseperable for a while. I do remeber going to Uncle Bobs, in the basement listening to music, making up dances, and playing pin ball (when we were younger.)We spent more time together from about 13-22, (when you guys moved back, don't remember the age exactly.) I had gotten in touch with Paul this past year and asked him about you, I was dreaming about you almost daily for months. I didn't get in contact with you and I will regret that forever. When I moved to Walla, Walla we lost touch, came back, got back together then I kept moving further away from Spokane. Our family (and any of us/them reading this know) we are all awful at keeping in touch, there are a few of us that do here and there, but overall, we are horrible at it. I can only apologize for myself, I missed out. I do have lots of memories though. When you drank you first beer, hahahaha. sorry aunt Connie. As Paul and I were talking this week, I talked to him about how you watched my children instead of going out with us. Now all those little kids have there own children. I remember times when you got me in so much trouble. When you were into Duran Duran and I would be with Paul listening to Kiss and other music, plus remember Pauls friend I thought was so "Cute"? Funny I dont remember his name, but man was I in trouble because I was hanging out with him and not you. I think back at some of these times and they were so funny. Teresa, as I said at the beginning there are many story's I could share, but way too many, You were my cousin and my friend. I love you and miss you so much. You were the light in my sons heart and the twinkle in his eye, his world and his life. You kept him in clean clothes and a clean home. You were a great cook, party organizer, fishing companion, friend and confidant, but most of all a wife, A good wife. Remember the frosting fight in Cheryl's trailer house and the surprise birthday party at MotorWorks for Steve and Barney showed up and the look on Steve's face? Robert said he loved your poor mans chicken fried steak and homemade macaroni and cheese.He loved your laugh. You were the other little girl I always wanted, and always will be.I thank you for letting me be your mom and letting me love you. Remember when you and I went shopping at Albertsons and you locked the keys in the car, we had to call the tow truck to get it opened we put the groceries in the trunk and headed for home, we were late picking him up from work? Teresa, you were a very talented woman, very creative, a thrifty shopper and getting the best bargains to save money. A great and safe driver. Teresa it is hard to except you are gone so soon from us! We had not seen each other since we were kids but we stayed in contact through Christmas cards each year. I will greatly miss recieving your Christmas card and keeping up to speed with each others lives. My fondest memory of us all is when we spent a Christmas together when we were kids.Your mom (aunt Connie) taught us all how to make Holly marshmallow cookies that year.I remember having the best time,plus we all were a little green from the food coloring! It was a great time! I make them every year for Christmas to this day!You are loved dearly and will be greatly missed! Teresa it's so hard to think your gone. Thank you for being there for me thoughout the years when I needed someone to talk to. the best memory I have that I would love to always remember is when I became a women at my dads and it was a blessing that you were there cause I was beyond scared.I was worried that I would have to tell dad and he would be like i dunno what to do, lol that's just me though and you knew I was scared but you still took me under your wing and made the best out of the whole thing. you were always there to comfort me when I was having a bad day you taught me how to make those killer pumpkin pies. Dear Teresa,
I'm sorry that I hadn't been in touch with you over the past several years, but I want you to know that I have always loved you. You were more than my cousin, you were also my friend. I think we really got to know eachother best during our Jr. High School years when you lived in Spokane. I remember a birthday party you had in you basement with a Strobe light (they were popular then). Another fond memory I have is when I went to my first Rock concert in 1984 (Ozzy Osborne) with my brother and he went off to hang with his friends and I was left to wonder if there was anyone there that I knew, when all of a sudden, there you were and we got to hang out during the concert. Probably the most fun I remember having was the week I came and stayed with you in Ridgecrest, your Sophmore (my Junior)year and went to school with you, I got to meet all of your many friends. We had so much fun. Many, many years later you were there for me to babysit for a few months when I went back to work after having my daughter, Paige. I thank you for that and I know it was difficult for you to do since it wasn't that long after your loss of D.W.
You will forever by missed and loved.

Although it has been a long time since I have seen Theresa, I still remember the young teenage Theresa being Duran Duran's number one fan. How the post office would send her letters to them back to Theresa because she confesses her love for them all over the envelope and the mailman's couldn't find the addresses. She always had a lot of love in her heart, which made her so special. She was so good to my kids when they were young. Always playing with them and fixes Jackie's hair for me. It is hard to express our feelings at a time like this. Teresa has always
been very dear to us as we watched her grow up and become a young woman.
These last years we have been separated by miles with her living in Spokane
and us in California, but we would talk once in a while and she always was
caring of us and her cousins, our kids. She will be remembered as a person
who loved animals, especially cats, flowers and anything pretty looking.
She especially loved her Grandma Wyrick who was about her size and she
felt close to her and shared a lot of time with her. She may have been
short in stature, but she had a huge heart and she loved deeply. We will

Teresa Its so hard to think of you gone. I go through the pictures of my sis and i see the little girl mostly. In the adult years I see a woman that would've made a great mother. A mother's heart to all kids no matter if they where hers or not. Teresa was denied the pleasure of having her own kids but she was always there to take care of anybodies kid. She didnt want to go out and party she was the one who wanted to stay home and babysit your kids so you could go out.
