Obituary of Andrea Marie Walker

Andrea Marie (Banana) Walker, age 55, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Andrea is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joel Walker, of Spirit Lake, Idaho; her father, Frank Salgado, stepmom, Dorothy Salgado, sisters Teri (Salgado) Mock and Patty (Gerbasi) Agee and many nieces and nephews and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Carney, her sister, Suzanne Gerbasi, her brothers Bob Gerbasi and John Gerbasi and her great niece. She will also be greatly missed by the Walker Family. Andrea was born on June 17, 1966, in Atascadero, California to parents, Frank Salgado and Doris Carney. She grew up in Templeton and Creston. She graduated from Atascadero High School. In 2001, she moved to Idaho and in 2019, she moved to her dream home in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Andrea was a great wife to Joel and a loving sister and aunt. She married Joel on September 1, 1985. Andrea was a strong believer and a warrior for Jesus. She would share her faith wherever she went. She loved reading, horseback riding, fishing, cooking, and animals. She was an avid reader and a history buff. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving and passionate person. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for the springtime in Spirit Lake where we can share loving memories of her.
