Obituary of Cathy Geary

Cathy Geary, 56, of Post Falls, ID died of natural causes, Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Cathy was born to Joanne Shirley and Roger Harris on June 11, 1956 in Great Falls, MT. She spent the majority of her life in Great Falls and also lived in Washington State before moving to Idaho. Cathy married Del Geary in 1981 and they divorced in 1991. Cathy was a very remarkable woman and her home was always open to people in need. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne, in October 2003 and her father, Roger, in 2012. Cathy's survivors include daughters: Nikki (Tam) Samaras, of Mukilteo, WA; Amanda (Bobby) Geary of Lynnwood; Robyn Geary of Lynnwood, WA; Rebekah Geary of Post Falls, ID; son David Ellis-Geary of Post Falls, ID; brothers: Brett (Linda) Harris of Great Falls, MT; George Harris of Renton, WA and sister Lisa (David) Powell of Coeur d'Alene, ID; 7 grandchildren, 8 neices and nephews who were all close to her heart. She dearly loved her family and cherished her growing number of grandchildren. Her legacy will continue in all the hearts she touched in her life as she was always a friend and champion of anyone in need. Her funeral is at 2 pm Saturday, January 26th at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave, Post Falls.
