Pamela “Jean” Woolf, 66
My beloved wife, the love of my life and best friend, mother, grandmother and sister, of Kellogg Idaho, passed away March 7, 2022 in her home in Post Falls Idaho. She was born April 5, 1955. Pam was the oldest daughter of Cecil Gray and Sheryn (Midge Grondin) Rex (Triplett).
Pam grew up in Kellogg attending local schools where she excelled in sports earning several awards for her athletic abilities. She then moved to Oregon where she attended both Aloha and Beaverton High Schools and later attended Mount Hood Community College in Gresham Oregon.
Pam was united in marriage to Raymond Woolf on January 19, 1973 in Vancouver Washington. Thereafter she stayed by her husband’s side serving as a devoted military spouse while he served 20 years in the United States Air Force serving during the post-Vietnam era and later Desert Storm.
Pam followed her husband Ray from Chanute Air Force Base Illinois, Mountain Home Air Force Base Idaho, LaGrande Oregon, Spokane Washington, Myrtle Beach Air Force Base South Carolina, Eielson Air Force Base Alaska, McCord Air Force Base Washington, Palmer Alaska, Gresham Oregon, Sherwood Oregon and Finally, after retirement, returned home to be reunited with her family and loved ones in Post Falls Idaho.
Pam loved the outdoors, road trips and spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, entertaining family and friends, cooking, playing games with her children and arts and crafts.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years and best friend forever Raymond Woolf of Post Falls Idaho; daughter Amanda Woolf of McCammon Idaho, son Brian Woolf of Gresham Oregon; two granddaughters, Stephanie Woolf of Aloha Oregon; Rebekah Altizer of McCammon Idaho; Her four sisters Jackie Calhoun (Gray) of Smelterville Idaho; Susan LeMaster (Gray) of Moscow Idaho; Kim Greenlee (Gray) of Deary Idaho; Toni Kemry (Grondin) of Battle Ground Washington and her two brothers Bruce Gray of Kalispell Montana and Michael Grondin of Post Falls Idaho; her parents Cecil (Bud) Gray and Sharon(Midge) Rex (Triplett).
My sincerest and heartfelt thanks to officers Todd Flood and Justin Anderson of the Post Falls police department for their rapid response and for remaining by my side during my most desperate hour. Their support was instrumental in helping me survive the impact of this heartbreaking time and I will forever be grateful for their service.
