Obituary of Jeffrey Raymond Lee

Jeffrey Raymond Lee, 60, of Post Falls Idaho, passed away on March 23, 2022. Jeff was born on July 14, 1961 to Ray and Marilyn Lee in Burbank California. Jeff grew up in Sierra Vista Arizona where he was an avid wrestler and accomplished singer. After he graduated from Buena High School in 1979, Jeff enlisted in the Air Force. During his Air Force career, he prestigiously served his country as an Airborne Command Post Communications Avionics Technician. After serving his country 12 years and 7 months, he achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant with a line number to Master Sergeant. Jeff was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1991 after which he moved to Coeur d'Alene Idaho, where he began his new career, and what would be his life’s passion, in medical and health services. Jeff worked for Panhandle Health District and the State of Idaho for 29 years. During his 29 year healthcare career, he achieved a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration Healthcare Management. He led the North Idaho Epidemiology team in managing and minimizing the impacts of the COVID pandemic to our area. He was promoted last summer to the Disease Investigations Program Lead for the State of Idaho expanding his public services to the entire State of Idaho. His beloved Donna M. Holden was his significant other and life partner for over 18 years. Donna passed away in January of this year. Jeff was predeceased by his father and mother, Ray and Marilyn Lee, and his sister Lorri Williams. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Coultrap and brother, Bob Lee. A private celebration of life will be held for Jeff in late April.
