Janet shared one of Karen's favorite Bible verses with me, she told me this gave Karen much comfort. Thanks for sharing Janet!!!
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

Dear Lance, Jordan, Kim, and Jim, So hard to believe that Karen is not here with us, but will always be in our hearts and remain in our thoughts and prayers. I have known Karen for such a long time...as not only a sister-in-law, but a perfect friend. She was always there for me even when she moved away from Alb. I will remember all the wonderful times we shared together. Her love of life, her enthusiasm, her thoughtfulness, her positive outlook, her never ending Support, her Strength, her love of Football, and most of all her love for my family and me, will be with me forever. Thank you Karen for being in my life! Love to you and your family.

Karen was a devoted Mother, a precious friend, and an ambassador for Christ. Could there be anything more honorable? She was so real and transparent. She met people right where they were, and always had a compassion and encouraging word for them. People loved her because she deeply, honestly cared about them. I loved being around Karen because she had a simple, beautiful heart. What a friend!

Dear family of Karen, Please accept my condolences on the loss of Karen, who had much life ahead yet to live. We may wonder why? or if their is anything to look forward to? Jesus well knew the Bible statement:" Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all"[Ecclesiastes 9:11]. He knew that sometimes bad things just happen. The wonderful future resurrection hope is the promise found at John 5:28,29. Revelation 21:3,4 states that death will be no more. and pain will be no more, the former things will have passed away. Our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of his son Jesus, is going to undo the tragedies that touch our lives today. sincerely dianne mullins

My heart is sad today hearing of the passing of Karen. I had only met her this year and my first thought was what a brave and amazing woman she was. She brought light into the room when she entered....always had a smile on her face and was enthusiastic with the day that she was given that day~ Please know that she touched my life with her story, her courage and her compassion for her beloved dog~May she rest in peace now, free from pain and discomfort~

I met Karen in 1991 when both our families lived in Tempe, Arizona, on the same street, just a few doors away from each other. Lance Tyler was just a baby and so was my daughter. Karen and I remained friends through the births of our second children, Jordan & Eric, through our divorces, through moves to different states and all the other mountain top highs and valley lows.
Karen sat me down at the table and explained the identity of Christ to me. And that night would begin to change my life forever. I will be eternally grateful for the ministry Karen had in my life. To me she will always be beautiful. She took the time to tell me of Christ and how much He loved me. God could have used someone else to bring me to saving faith. And I know, ultimately, that I owe my salvation, not to Karen, but to God. She would constantly remind me of this. And yet, on this earthly plane, on the horizontal plane, in this arena of human activity, I have profound affection and profound gratitude for those, like our dear Karen, who are being used of God as his instruments of evangelism. What a privilege to be used of God to bring another person to Christ.
To Lance Tyler, Jordan, Kim and Jim and their families...with Love and Respect.

We would like to share this blessing with you, on Karen's behalf. Irish Blessing: May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields and, Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Karen was a beautiful person with a heart to serve. When there was a need, she tried to fill it, even when she was ill. She was bold, yet compassionate. I will miss her fun-loving spirit. I'm glad that her suffering has passed, and I look forward to seeing her in heaven.

Kim, Jim and Karen’s family…I have thought of Karen often and was very happy to see her when she came to Abq. We grew up together, lived next to each other and went through good times and a few tough ones but were always friends. I regret that I hadn't kept in better touch with her but when we saw each other again; it was just like old times. I’m sure she is at peace and looking down at us and smiling. She will be missed.

Kim, Jim and Karen's sons: My deepest sympathy to each of you. Karen's farewell tour to Albuquerque was such a blessing, even though we may not have recognized it at the time. It was wonderful to see Karen laughing and smiling and totally engaged in the conversation with all of us. My memories of Karen as a child are of fun summers and hanging out. She was always smiling and happy and didn't seem to have a grumpy day, except when her brother or sister got on her nerves (ha, ha). We are all so lucky to have been in her life. I hope your memories of her remain with fondness and closeness in your heart.
