Charles Henry Reamy
Charles (Chuck) H. Reamy, 82, died at home, surrounded by family, on May 6, 2022 in Post Falls, Idaho. He was born on October 2, 1939 in Buckley, Washington, the fourth child of the late Earl Henry and Ida Viola Reamy.
Chuck was raised with his three brothers and four sisters on the family dairy farm near South Prairie, WA. He attended White River Schools, joining the Marine Corp in 1957 at the end of his senior year; he served as a guard on the USS Midway for the major part of his enlistment. For most of his adult work life, Chuck drove semi trucks and operated heavy equipment; he also was involved in dairy farming with his brother, Earl in Othello, WA. He was an early riser and a very hard worker, traits he
developed early in life working on the family farm.
Chuck enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, camping, and riding his 4 wheeler summer weekends in the mountains of Northern Idaho. He especially enjoyed going on fishing trips to Alaska with his brothers.
He is survived by 5 children: Cynthia (Gary) Rosenthal, Donald La Crone, Catherine Greene, Douglas Reamy, and Tina (Tony) Sneed; 2 step children: Angelique ( Paul) King, and Christine (Jered) Baker ; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and Shana Reamy his wife of thirty-eight years whom
he loved so much. In addition, brothers Earl (Tanya) Reamy and Glen (Maria) Reamy, and sisters Rosalie Gayer, Judy and Glenda Reamy; sister-in-law Betty Reamy, and brother-in-law Les Martin as well as many other family members. Chuck was proceeded in death by his brother Richard Reamy and sister Earlien Martin.
Chuck was a kind and generous man, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, father-inlaw, uncle, and friend; he will be greatly missed and loved always and always.
The family would like to thank Hospice of North Idaho for their kindness and wonderful care extended to our loved one during Chuck's stay there.
