Obituary of Kenny Ogorek

Please share a memory of Kenny to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kenneth Michael Ogorek, 54, born to Ervin Ogorek and Tempie Morrill, was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 5th, 1967. Kenny passed away suddenly in his home in Post Falls, Idaho on May 5th, 2022. Although Kenny was born in Illinois, he grew up in Louisiana. Kenny also resided in Marysville, Washington for 13 years of his life, until he moved to Post Falls, Idaho, to spend the last 11 years with his cherished family. Kenny was deeply loved by many, and with his friendly and approachable personality, he never met a stranger. Kenny loved to watch sports; Nascar, Formula One, and the New Orleans Saints Football team in particular. Kenny was well known for many of his incredible attributes, including his work ethic, intelligence, goofiness, and his eagerness to help others.. But mostly for his love for God, his family, and his friends. Kenny has dismally left behind his wife Shannon Ogorek (Sellers) of 23 years; his two sons, Daniel and Carsen, and one daughter, Meredith (Turd); his mother Tempie Morrill, of Montgomery, Louisiana. Brothers Donald Hawkins of Montgomery, Louisiana, and Walter Ogorek (Laura) of Alex, Louisiana. Sisters Mary Spikes of Montgomery, Louisiana. Elizabeth Elliot of Seline, Louisiana, and Annie Willis (Gary) of Hillsboro, Illinois. He is preceded in death by father Jessie C. Morrill, brother Charles Sellers, and sister Peggy Giles. Kenny left behind many, many nieces and nephews. We think about you always, we talk about you still. You have never been forgotten, and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts, and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives… Until we meet again…
