Obituary of Roy Franklin Rardin III

Roy F. Rardin III, 65 years old, from Rathdrum, Idaho passed away at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on June 24th, 2022. He was born November 23rd, 1956 to Norma Jean Bishop and Virgil F. Rardin in Paso Robles, California. Roy met the love of his life Henrietta ‘Joyce’ Rardin in Livermore, California and were married on June 5th, 1996 in Sitka Alaska. Roy was a truck driver and would end his career having traveled through 47 states. Roy has lived in California, Colorado and Idaho. Roy loved his kids. He also enjoyed traveling and the outdoors where he would hike, and backpack. Roy liked football and enjoyed firing up the BBQ and cooking. Roy would enjoy karaoke and shooting pool. He was involved with the group Native Sons of the Golden West that would help the surrounding children in the community with the Cleft Lip Foundation. He is survived by his wife Henreitta Rardin in Rathdrum, Idaho, his son Roy Rardin IV in Post Falls, Idaho, daughter Cheyenne Rardin in Rathdrum Idaho, Eldest sister Ada Rardin in Livermore, California, Sister Margaret & brother-in-law Bob Elson in Pioneer, California, Little sister Mary Ann Mullan in Livermore, California, 5 nieces, 4 nephews, 7 great nieces and 4 great nephews. He is proceeded in death by his older sister Millie Creager and his mother and Father Norma Jean Bishop and Virgil F. Rardin. A Celebration of Life for Roy is scheduled for Saturday July 2nd, 2022 at the home that he and Joyce shared together at 7766 W. Idaho St. Rathdrum, Idaho at 4pm.
