Obituary of Carrie Katherine Rockwell Carter

Please share a memory of Carrie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carrie Katherine Rockwell Carter May 20, 1972 – July 18, 2022 Our beloved Carrie left this world and passed away peacefully at home in Post Falls, Idaho. Carrie was born in American Fork, Utah and was the 5th child out of 6 siblings. She had always been a free-spirited person, and lived life to the fullest!! She came into this world as a little spitfire - and left the world just the same! Carrie had lived in several places during her life, including Salt Lake City, Utah and Post Falls, Idaho. She even spent a few years in Alaska when she was younger. After graduating High School, Carrie thought that she needed to see the world and took a job as a Nanny in Miami, Florida for a summer - but soon realized that she missed her family and returned to Salt Lake City. Carrie was always full of life, and so fun to be around. She would always meet people and continue to be their lifelong friends. She was the sunshine that just made everyone feel loved! Carrie’s professional career was as a dental hygienist and she loved her job. Eventually, she became a dental office manager. Carrie was the mother of three amazing boys, whom she loved very much. Later in life, Carrie met Patrick - fell in love and would move to Post Falls, Idaho where they soon married. They would remain in Idaho for the next twenty years until her passing. Carrie would always talk about the water and outings on the boat. Carrie loved North Idaho, and would always say that it was the most beautiful place to live. We also wanted to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Patrick and Carrie’s neighbors - Pat and Allen. She always considered them to be her Idaho mom and dad, and loved them so much. Pat and Allen would help care for Carrie during some of the more difficult times, and we couldn’t be more thankful to them. Carrie was always called Raggedy Ann by her dad, so RAGGEDY ANN we all love you so much and will forever miss you dearly!
