When I visited Alice at the Four Seasons, she would show me the framed photograph of her husband on her dresser. The glass covering the photo was covered with lipstick kisses from where she had lovingly pressed her lips upon his picture. I thought that was so sweet. I believe Alice loved kisses.

Blessing her beautiful Spirit. Thank you God for Alice.

Auntie was a one of a kind!Even though its been years since I seen her last, I have alot of memories that make me smile today! The last memory was when she "met up" with mom on her trip to Maryland,& then to SC to see us! Wanting to see the countryside, we ended up in Savannah, Ga & she wanted me to stop& take a pic of her on the Talmedge Bridge to show that she went from the WEST COAST to the EAST COAST! Needless to say no pics of Auntie on the Talmedge Bridge. Even though I didn't get to see her after that, I have alot of fond memories to last my lifetime! Sending the cousins lots of love & prayers through this difficult time! xoxo

I thoroughly enjoyed Alice. I knew her at KMC when I worked there, and then at Unity. She was always bright and cheerful, welcoming all with her "hugs". Her strength of character in living on her land as long as she did.Enduring and recovering from the dog attack, while staying upbeat, and looking for the best side of things. I loved sharing Butte memories with her. I will miss her.

So sorry for your loss. I didn't know her well. But from what I did see of her, and know of her, she was a gentle, caring, wonderful, spunky, hard working, determined, special lady. Rest In Peace, Alice.

To the Hardison Family: My first contact with Alice was when she brought her grandson to the office with TWO broken arms! Only later did we get to know this charming lady with a depth of Character and Love that is hard to imagine. She always made certain that I got to see her paintings. A Hard life, well lived!

I had the priviledge to meet this wonderful woman in 1985 when I first came to work at the Jewett House. She loved to come over and watercolor paint. She always had a big smile. She called herself my Idaho mom. I love you Alice! You will be greatly missed! My heartfelt condolences to the family.
