Kirk and I met on an online dating site called Plenty O Fish in December 2017. He was unlike anyone I had met before. My fur babies at the time actually took over our date as they "Booboo and Sadie Mae licked him to death and he loved it. We had some conflict at first, but it was quickly resolved when my Dad got sick and came to live with us. I would have to be to work in the evening but Kirk was there to make sure Pops as he called him was well taken care of. Once my Dad was better, Kirk had an opportunity for a great job in Idaho. I knew he needed a change and maybe so did I. I sold and gave away everything for this new adventure. We finally ended up in Spirit Lake Idaho because that was the only place we could find that would take 3 dogs and 1 cat. Turns out this small town suited us. We were married in our back yard on July 27 2019. go figure in a small town backyard weddings end early. So Kirk and I go with two of our friends to karaoke. Kirk rocked it I did not lol. Fast forward this man would write I love yous on the bathroom mirror or paper towel banners on.the cupboards. He always told me I was the love of his life and his best friend. He was mine. My name on his phone "Marybeth my love aka Betsy . Okay enough with the mushy Kirk was a Raider fan to the core. Kirk finally got to reconnect with those he really loved and that brings peace.to me.

Found this picture dated 1991. Good looking kid. We have very fond memories of Kirk growing up. He had a tuff life. When we lived in Redondo Beach, he and I used to work on his homework. He was such a smart little kid. We had many heartfelt talks together. He was around 9 years old. I am so sorry we missed so much time together when he was grown. I truly loved him and am blessed we had reconnected the last year or so. Miss you kirkers.

Our favorite thing to do when we were kids was hide in boxes. Sometimes we would build a fort sometimes we just hid underneath. Whenever we hung out through the years it was like no time had passed. He always gave me the best advice and could always make me laugh. Rest in peace brother ♡♡

Kirk (Kirky) Hall
My nephew since I was 7 years old. I used to love it when he was old enough to talk he would call me Dunkle Dunkle Eddy.. We grew up together he was always so unbelievably artistically gifted. His creativity was off the chart. He was making creative drawings since he was old enough to hold a pencil. He would draw little spiders he saw lurking around he would draw more advanced images as he grew.. We would play legos with my friends and kirk would create fantastic forts to hide his army guys to guard against our onslaught of dart gun shots. We would also spend countless hours playing video games as we were growing up together. He had an amazing gift of creativity.
He was very intelligent and quick witted. Probably a little to smart for his own good as he would become very bored quickly if he was not enjoying the endeavor. He definitely enjoyed doing things his own way. He was never one to follow conventional wisdom. He was always very independent and made his own decisions regarding what he wanted to do. I always supported that because I am the same way. All the elders in his family are that way as well. We all March to our own drum beat. Kirk was no exception he thrived on being his own man so to speak.
As he entered high school he played football for Newport Harbor High. Where he was an outstanding line backer. We used to lift weights together and he would visit me often at my beach house in newport. He became very strong and physically fit. In fact he was an absolute beast in high school he could outlift almost
Everyone at the gym. He went on to do some college then to the military both short stints but long enough for him to gather the experience he desired.
Once he became fully into adulthood he pursued many adventures and gathered many experiences probably more than I can put in a book. All the while doing things his own way. I admired that in him. We lost contact for a few years while he pursued life adventures. He finally meet Betsy the one who helped him find peace and joy and forgiveness. He reached out to me a ton over the past few months where we spoke on the phone and in texts. He seemed so happy finally, enjoying his job, his house, his puppy and his wife. All things were coming together for him. Then he suddenly passed. I will forever love that guy so much and will always have a special place in my heart for him forever.
Dunkle Eddy
