Obituary of David Barrett

David Gerald Barrett of Post Falls Idaho passed away March 4, 2013 at 5:00 pm in his home. Born 1/10/1943 in San Francisco, CA, David "Dave" was a loving husband, father and friend. He is survived by wife, Jo Barrett, daughters, Jenel Emahiser and Pam Taylor and son, Jeff Barrett. David proudly served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He then began his law enforcement career by working for the Los Angeles and Simi Valley police departments. Taking the skills he learned from the military and law enforcement, David founded his own Investigative and Security Service Company. For the past 7 years, David used his expertise to develop and enhance safety and security as Safety Coordinator at the House of Charity. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on 3/9/13 at 10 am at the House of Charity at 32 West Pacific, Spokane, WA 99210. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Catholic Charities of Spokane in honor of David Barrett.
