Bob is my father-in-law, whom I’ve known nearly my entire life. He was always a man of integrity, quality, took a seriousness to this, yet he set an example to not take life too seriously. He was lighthearted, great sense of humor, loved to tell a story of adventures as a kid, young adult or some previous experience. Any who met him soon realized he was a stranger to no one. He was a friend to all. He loved life and he loved making the most of it. I am so grateful to have been part of his life and him in my life.

To the Ovnicek family, we're very sorry for your loss.
Bob was an amazing person. He was always there to help with a smile. There were many times he would come help fix something at Paul Bunyan and always had a story to tell. I can't remember one time that he complained. His positivy was infectious and will truly be missed.
We have many memories atv riding, playing texas hold em, camping and sitting around the fire sharing a beer and stories about his younger years or anything cars.
His smile and spirit will live on forever with many.
Our deepest sympathy to the family

Bob was so full of life & seemed to enjoy everything he did. I can remember when my son Jeff was ill how the car club donated funds to help make his home wheelchair accessible. He left a legacy with his Paul Bunyan drive ins.

Thank you for being such a great example of enjoying life Bob. From traveling to camping to family you really lived!! Thank you, both Sharon and Bob, for all the times I tagged along while I was growing up. I will cherish the memories of watching you ALL slalom ski- the only entire family I have ever met that could.. The time at hunting camp- just once but what a great memory with whiskey (Scott’s fault) and possibly almost shooting Bob accidentally:) And all the Christmas Eve dinners you made me feel so welcome. Thank you.

Our memories of Bob will always include his ever present smile and laugh. We doubt he ever met a stranger, at least not for long after meeting him. We first met Bob and Sharon when their son, Scott, asked to marry our daughter Tara. It began a family legacy that grew as the grandsons arrived and now the great granddaughter that brought so much joy to our joined families. Yes, there is an empty spot at our family gatherings, but there will always be a warm place in our hearts that Bob still is with us. He fought hard to continue on this last year, still looking ahead for the next adventure. He made the most of every day to the best of his ability. Hopefully we can do the same in his memory. God's speed Bob.
