Obituary of Jane Wagstaff

Elizabeth Jane Devey Wagstaff, age 83, passed away at home after an extended illness, surrounded by her family. Jane was born to Melvin and Zetta Devey in American Fork, Utah, on June 6, 1939. She grew up in Alpine, Utah, and graduated from American Fork High School. While attending the University of Utah she met and married Frank E. Wagstaff. Jane and Frank were married in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was an active, life-long member of her church, and spent most of her time serving others. Jane is survived by her husband Frank, and her six children, Paula (Myron) Thurber, Carol Wagstaff, Deanne (Patrick) Burch, Brian (MaryBeth) Wagstaff, Mark (Heather) Wagstaff, Sharlene (Eric) Enloe. Jane was a loving grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm at the Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho. A memorial will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Spokane East Stake Center.
