Dora Christine Flint Cox Jacobs passed away Saturday February 18, 2023, at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho. Christine was born June 4, 1947, in Rexburg, Idaho, daughter of Frank H Flint and Elda M Moon. She grew up in the Egin, Idaho area on her Grandparents farm. She attended South Fremont High School graduating class of 1965. In 1971 Christine graduated from Idaho State University Police Academy (the only female in her class).
She worked for many years for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was gifted with many talents and was an accomplished woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and two brothers. Christine is survived by her loving husband, Tony, her daughter, Machelle (Mike) Stratton of American Falls ID and her stepdaughter Sara Jacobs of Georgetown, Kentucky, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Darlene (David) Smith, Charlene Turnage, Donna Flint, Linda Flint-Childs, Doreen Allen and brother Dan Flint, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced, at a later date.
