I have an Angel! sitting on the window ledge in my bedroom looking out over the lake in Homestead, Florida. She lights up, snow falling and twirling through her with colors transitioning from red to aqua to turquoise to sea foam green to lavender to silver, gold, then to the green of a freshly mown lawn and back to red. I have so many found memories of Heather. I know I always looked forward to spending time with her and her children. Many great times in Blackhawk, South Dakota where they boarded horses and also in Benson, Minnesota on their dairy farm. I had some of the greatest times of my life enjoying their company and all the things we did together. I will miss her very much!

Mom your smile always lit up the room. Your infectious laugh made anyone near you laugh too. You guided your children with God, love, patience, compassion, intellect and humor. You guided your life by God's word and hand which was apparent to anyone in your presence. From early memories of laughing for hours in the garden picking weeds, camping out for Twins tickets or simply the many hours we would sit and talk. Heather my dear sister was the comic relief of our family. We really needed her. She was the only one who could make dad laugh. One of his favorites was when she would become a cat, she would get on the floor and start meowing and rubbing against the chair dad sat in. This cracked dad up. Mom,
We always joked with you saying that where ever you lived you were like Grand Central station. Everyone wanted to hang out at your house.
I would come over and you would be having coffee in the morning with acouple of your friends then tea in the afternoon with afew other friends and then ofcourse an evening chat with acouple others, just to keep up with the gossip. I remember politely having people leave because they just wouldnt go home.
Your kindness spread like wildfire, your smile brought hapiness to others, your gentleness filled the room with comfort. Everyone loved you and they felt better when they were near you.
Mom, Thank you for sticking with us and having faith in us even when we thought differently.
