I will miss Donna's smile and kind face. For several years, on most Sundays at Calvary Christian Fellowship Donna and I would greet each other with a smile and hug. She had an easy way about her. She was so quick to give a smile and a wave when she saw you from a distance! She sent me a beautiful birthday card in March, and it was around that time that we were amazed to discover that we'd both been born in Martinez, California!! Most of our Sunday conversations would end with focusing on how much we look forward to someday going home to Heaven. I'm so sad about her sudden passing, but I do rejoice and have peace with knowing that she is with the Lord. When the day comes that I leave this world, I look forward to being greeted by my friend Donna, with a hug and her smile!

Dear Jamie, I remember often seeing you and your mama at restaurants and movies, when I was out and about with my girl. Just two moms and their girls having fun. We would visit a bit... Your mom knew a friend of mine from Richmond, California, Joanne. The last time we saw one another was at Azteca, Riverstone. I think of the two of you and have hoped to "run into" one another again. I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless Dear Donna's soul. Linda Coppom, Hayden

My few short seasons with Donna & her family at the Spokane Indians were filled with smiles, fun conversations and joy. I will not pass her seat at the ballpark without feeling her presence & joy and know she is watching over us and cheering the team on. I’m taking comfort in knowing I will see her and that beautiful smile once again in heaven. I am truly blessed for having had Donna in my world. Corky & Jamie, I will continue looking forward to sharing time together at Avista Stadium and memories of your beautiful wife and mother.

The most time I got to spend with Donna was in Bible Study Fellowship leadership, but a more personal connection was that she took my daughter in whenever things were rocky between us at home. Our daughters were friends, and my daughter was so sure Donna would welcome her that she often walked a difficult 5 miles between our homes to be there. I will always appreciate the love and openness she extended.

I knew Donna first through our church in Spirit Lake Idaho. I would always get a hug, and say hi, how are you...but...I think I saw her more at the Mexican restaurant that I work at in Rathdrum, La Cabaña. She and Corky, and usually Jamie and Reid would come for lunch before attending an Indians game, or just any Friday or Saturday afternoon. She was in love with our chicken fajita salad. Lol
We will still see the rest of the gang from time to time, but I know I will see Donna again in the presence of our most High King, Jesus! I know she is missed by all at church, and the restaurant. My prayers to the family, sincerely, Danielle Klages

I met Donna through her daughter, Jamie, when she moved to Idaho from California. I will always remember her as a fun loving, energetic person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a fellow cat lover and we swapped stories about the antics of our feline friends. Donna was a welcome member of our Round Table pizza lunch club and everyone was entertained by the funny anecdotes she would share. We will truly miss her lively presence.

You made the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever! I will always think of you when I see anything having to do with Elvis. Thank you for always being a fun chaperone on all our church trips. Most of all, thank you for giving me one of my dearest friends in life! Love you! You will never be forgotten.
Love,
Nik Chastain

I will never pass a yogurt shop without thinking of you.
I will remember you waving the runners around at the Indians games, cheering and smiling.
No one could make me laugh like you and you were ALWAYS there for me. You are the best mom in the world. Thank you for always putting us first.
I will love you and miss you every day.
