Obituary of Stephen Warren Jerald

Our beloved Stephen W. Jerald entered into the arms of Jesus on May 31, 2023. He was born in Clarkston, WA but traveled to many places during his life including Oregon, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Peru for work, life, and love. He ended up back in Post Falls, ID in most recent years where his kids and various family were close by. His life was filled with love from an early age and not many likely knew the capacity to which that love embraced. When asked what his most cherished moment was, the following quote was his response: "It would be impossible for me to narrow down my most cherished memory to one event. It seems to me that my first real feelings of love for others occurred early in life. I knew that my dad and his mom both loved me and I loved them. I think this was around age 4 or 5. These feelings would later grow to include Vicci whom I always considered to be my mother. After I joined the army I experienced the most cherished events of my life, God's love and our forgiveness through Jesus' salvation. Followed by the purest love I have ever known that took place on Dec 17, 1979, April 9, 1981, and August 15, 1988. Thank you Heavenly Father Amen." His joys in life included his children, serving the Lord, spending time with family and friends, and watching Nascar. Stephen is survived by his 2 kids Jamie and Randall and their families, his mother Vicci, brothers Tony, Ron, Mike, Marlin, and Pat, half-sister Billie Jean, and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Brandon, and father Tom. He touched the lives of many people during his life on earth and will continue to touch those hearts long after his death. We love you and will miss you every day, always.
