Dorothy H. Rutledge - August 24, 1933 to April 18, 2013. Dorothy was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. She graduated from Madison High School. She was married briefly to Alan English and one son, Jeff, was born to that union. She spent a short time in Wallace, ID with her young son. After returning to Rexburg, she met and married the love of her life, Curtis Rutledge. He was serving in the Navy when they met while he was home on leave. They were married November 11, 1952 on her mother's birthday. Four more children joined this union, Vickie, Dennis, Reese and Terry. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls temple. Dorothy worked as a cashier, waitress and an office manager at Heritage Place (a HUD facility) for 18 years prior to her retirement. She served in many capacities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She gave all she had to anything she was involved in. She had a great love for her family, associates and the outdoors. She was always pursuing knowledge and loved exploring God's creations. She did not want for anything and if she knew someone needed something, she would give them hers. She is survived by her 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
