Obituary of Carol Bengtson

Carol Jean Bengtson (Prentice) passed away June 25, 2013, at her home in Post Falls. She was born on December 17, 1923 in Rosalia, Washington to Charles and Maude Prentice. She grew up on a farm in Worley, Idaho, attended school in Worley, Idaho and married Fred Bengtson in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho July 19, 1941. She and Fred farmed land in Worley and Plummer Idaho before moving to Post Falls Idaho in 1949. She attended Community Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday School, VBS, and belonged to the women's association. She was a past member of TOPS club in Post Falls. She leaves two sons, Vernon Bengtson and wife Judy of Post Falls, Jerry Bengtson and wife Maureenia of Coeur D' Alene and daughter Linda Bengtson of Post Falls. Four grandchildren, three great grandsons and four great granddaughters. Memorial Services will be held at Community Presbyterian Church, Post Falls on July 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Doug Waltar officiating. Reception will follow service. Memorials may be made to the Community Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
