I will never forget Mrs. Waide! She was one of the most enjoyable teachers I ever had. I remember “Colonial Days� like it was yesterday. My daughter always giggles when I share the fact that I had a desk next to Mrs. Waide facing the class….and it wasn’t because I was her favorite student!! Thank you for making third-grade so great! And the best part was working side by side with my favorite teacher at the Gateway in summers. You will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Waide was a first rate teacher. She loved her students, and taught our kids with skill and with all her heart. She was one of the reasons Kootenai School District was so very good for so many years. This community will miss her. My kids are thinking of her this week. This community has suffered a great loss.

Dearest Kelly, Kevin and Ernie: I'm so very sorry to hear of Delores' passing. She was a beautiful, remarkable person who inspired others to be more than they had ever thought they could be. She was a great great lady!
