Mike and I have been fast friends since I was 15 yrs old. We had known each other for quite some time, but not really done a lot together. He called me in June 1986 and asked if I wanted to work as a farm hand with him over the summer. I needed work, and knew Mike to be a decent sort. Over a summer of picking rocks, cleaning chicken coops, hauling hay, and waxing farm equipment (yes, we waxed our boss's farm equipment ), a friendship to last the ages was born. He has been an inspiration to me for 27 yrs., and continues to inspire me daily. His family coined the acronym WWMS (What Would Mike Say), and I take that to hear when faced with difficult situations now.
We are truly blessed if we are graced with one friend as good as Michael, and I count myself privileged to be his BFF!
