Michelle, we are so sorry for Don's passing. Your written tribute to Don clearly tell of your love for him. What more can a man ask for? I've known Don since we met in the first grade in Ronan. The last time I saw Don was at a school reunion and he still had that great smile and chuckle. Every time I remember Don I have to laugh about all the good times we had together. Thanks for sharing his story. Peace, Chuck

Don was one of my best friends at RHS and one of the first guys I met when I came to Ronan. He lived a couple of blocks up the street from me and would stop by the house and we would walk to school. I think I spent more time at his house than i did at mine.We would listen to their new 45 RPM record player and play pinochle or sing and jackie would play the piano. Great memories.

Sorry for your loss, Don sounds like he was one heck of a man. You were lucky to have found each other and to have shared so many good years. I live in Sacramento and do not know the family personally, but am friends on Facebook with Doug and Denies. I find it very interesting that Don was involved in the Sawmill "lumber" Industry. My Dad James Joseph McVey was also in the lumber business, DOB 07/05/26, passed at age 44 from a massive heart attack. My thoughts go out to the whole family.

I lost the greatest man I will ever know and my biggest supporter. Dad, you were the true definition of unconditional love. I will make sure Cooper always know about the type of person you were and will be so proud you were his Grandpa (Paw-Pop). I love you so much Dad.
