On September 10, 2013 Betty (McCrite) Cotter passed away at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA after fighting valiantly to recover from multiple strokes and a life ending aneurysm. She now joins her predeceased husband, Cliff Cotter, in peace looking down to help guide on those she left behind. Betty is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Tina & Jerry Tipke; son & daughter-in-law, James & Susan Cotter; 6 grandchildren, Marissa, Joshua, Caitlin, Corey, Kayla, Cheyenne; 7 great grandchildren, Jacey, Justin, Rileyray, Emmy, Kiernan, Rylan and Broden; sister Edna Grytness and brother John McCrite, and unlimited family and friends. She was a stay at home "Nana", teaching her grandchildren new & exciting things in life. She had a full and exciting life beginning with being born here in CDA and then living in Alaska. May she be at peace amongst the warmth & light of heaven, shining her light down upon us all as she guides her family along the path to living.
