Oh my goodness, my dear cousin Shirley. I'm sorry I lost touch with you and many family members when I turned 18. I'm very saddened to learn that you passed away. Larry & Family: I was sorry to read of Shirley's passing recently in the newspaper. Although I did not know her well she always seemed to be a very kind person with a lively personality. I know my late husband Ed thought very highly of her when he was working with her at the Democratic meetings and of you also Larry. To Larry and Family; I am so saddened that this day has come! My heart is heavy with sorrow for all of you especially! I remember Shirley well and she was a sweet, kind and loving not to mention beautiful person. My conversations with her just prior to her passing were precious and I could not get over how wonderful she was! It was as if she was helping ME to not feel sad! She was prepared and I must say I know she was happy regarding the committments she had made prior to her actual time of leaving to be with the Lord. That was clear for her and she loved you Larry more than words could ever express as well as her Children!! She was giving and caring for all her friends and family. When people say she will be remembered it is true however she will be remembered in so many hearts in so many special ways. I so always wanted to spend more time with her and being so far across the country from you both it never happened and for that I would turn the clock back! I understand when I was there last June she just wasn't feeling able to see people and we missed a visit, and I know in my heart she loved all of us and that was never a question. Larry please know you will be in my prayers and especially today as you all say goodbye and give her this wonderful tribute as she so deserves. It truly is not goodbye, it is just a bit of time before we will all be together again. The Angels will be with you and God be with you as now we know Shirley is at peace and with God. Hi Larry, Deanna & I were sadened to learn of Shirley's passing.We will always remember her as a happy outgoing person, and a lifes companion to you. She loved life, and lived it in such a positive manner. You were her solid rock, and she was at her best when you were both together. Shirley was a bright light and a good friend when she and I were aides together at Yellowstone Elementary School back in the 80's. What a great smile she always had for everyone around her. I will miss hearing Shirley's voice. Every week for the past 3 yrs. I have relied on Shirley's advice for parenting. I have shown many people the photos of our vacation to Washington D.C.
