Obituary of Michael McFadden

Michael Patrick McFadden, 46, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away at his home in Post Falls, Idaho. Michael was born January 7, 1967 in Great Falls, Montana to Duane "Mac" and Kathleen (Wilsey) McFadden. Michael attended and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1984. He then went on to a technical college in Seattle, Washington where he earned a degree as an electrical technician. Michael had worked for Minolta for five years as a service technician, and later worked as a finish carpenter for 18 years. Michael lived in Seattle, Washington until 2010 when he relocated to Post Falls, Idaho to be near his family. He enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing. He was good with his hands and was a great handyman and carpenter. He collected Hot Wheels, Baseball Cards, comic books, and coins. He was a great musician, and loved playing the guitar. He was also an animal lover and especially loved his cat Pooh. Michael is survived by his Mother Kathleen Wilsey of Post Falls, Idaho, his Father Duane "Mac" McFadden of Montana, one brother Matthew (Angie) McFadden of Post Falls, Idaho; two sisters Megan (Donald) Derickson of Vancouver, Washington, and Michele McFadden of Lahaina, Hawaii; three step-sons Tanner, Tyler, and Kyle; three nephews Christopher Colvin, Jorey McFadden, and Jeremy McFadden; one niece Jessica Colvin. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. A memorial service will be held Friday November 8th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Kootenai Humane Society at 1600 E. Seltice Way Post Falls, Idaho 83854.
