Augusta, was born in Tremonton Utah December 15, 1913 to Owen L. Brough and Dora Ivy Toone Brough, who were children of Mormon pioneers. She was the first of seven children. Her parents managed a dairy farm and raised crops. Augusta, being the oldest child, did her share of the work. She graduated from high school and attended college at Weber State University. She taught school, sang professionally and served a mission to Canada for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1938 and 1939 before marring Gerald Langdon in 1945. They moved to Tacoma, Washington and had 5 children. Augusta was a good cook, homemaker, mother and teacher. She worked in real estate for more than 10 years before retiring. She married John Gladstone in 1979. She moved from Tacoma to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2010. Augusta was responsible, cheerful, socially pleasant, and willing to serve others. She loved people, music, singing, dancing, traveling and crafts. She passed away November 18, 2013 and is survived by two brothers (Owen and Bob), three children (Jim, Barbara and Larry), nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
