Kerry was such a strong woman and never quit or gave up, even to the end of her life here. She had this poise about her that made you love and respect her. She brought that out in other women near her and there was no way she would ever let you think anything less than the best of yourself. She built people up and could turn any dark situation into something beautiful. Her smile lit up the room and her laugh was infectious. She loved her family and friends with every part of herself and it was a joy to know her and see her grow in all she did over the years, and was the most beautiful to see her with her granddaughter KiKi. She fit every role in her life perfectly and I know she is doing the same in Heaven, probably teaching Jesus the macarena :) We love you forever Kerry and are so blessed to have had you for the time we did. Prayers and love to James, Quentin, Rae and Jonathon. She didn't leave you, she is alive in your hearts and is waiting for you in paradise.

Well Kerry Jo, I'm sorry I didn't make it to Post Falls to see you. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend your service or the celebration of your life next weekend. I have so many stories I remember about Kerry I dont know where to start. I was blessed and fortunate enough to have spoken to Kerry on the phone about two weeks ago. I went to work that day and really felt the need to call her, so on my lunch break I told my boss see ya later I have an important call to make. So I called her and we laughed and talked about many things. One of those things was May 18th 1980 during the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. On that day our families were at a picnic at Hells Gate Park and as kids we road bikes and joked and laughed and I have never forgotten that, what a great way to remember May 18th, spending it with such a great friend. I also told her the other day that she was probably the only one besides maybe Demi Moore that could pull off the bald woman look and still be really beautiful, and of course she got a kick outa that and we laughed at my crazy comments like old times. I'm fortunate enough to say that I new her all my life and rode the bus with her everyday and was her neighbor. She is a great friend, neighbor, classmate, woman, person, and will live on in my memory forever.

As Kerry's older cousin, I had the opportunity to babysit her and her sisters before she was in school and I loved those girls. I moved away from home and did not keep in touch with them and I regret that. I did not have the opportunity to personally see the great person Kerry became. It is truly sad to lose someone so dynamic as Kerry and my heartfelt sympathy is extended to Ed and Joanne, her family and friends.

Kerry was a sweet spirit. Even though I never met her in person we got to talk on the phone, through text and FB. We had cancer and avon in common, she would encourage me when I was in a slump and I would encourage her when she was down. I'll never forget her and will miss our talks. Kerry, you were such an amazing and wonderful woman! Your smile was so contagious, people could not help but feel refreshed and light in your presence!
