Edythe Martha Dickson Bassett Sweatman, 90, passed away, Wed.January 25 th at home. She was born August 19, 1920 in Mora, Minnesota to Carl and Sigred (Nordenstrom) Dickson. Dixie was a librairian and worked both the public and school librairies. She is survived by her sons and daughtrers in law: Richard Bassett of Coeur D Alene, Robert and Linda Bassett of Post Falls, John and Sharon Bassett of Hayden Lake, Andrew and Tina Sweatman of Coeur D Alene, James and Simi Sweatman of Germany. Dixie is also survived by a daughter Terri Marie Bassett Ramsey of Santa Clarita, CA. and a daughter in law: Jackie Bassett of Hayden Lake. Other survivers include a brother: Maurice " Bud" Dickson of Modesto, CA. 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Dixie is preceded in death by her sisters: Laura Smith, Otillia Devork and Signe Allemange. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00 am. at Evergreen Cemetery, Post Falls, ID. Bell Tower Funeral Home of Post Falls are in care of arrangements.
