The Mallory family is sad to announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, and grand father after a valiant decade long battle with cancer. Alan was born, September 7, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. He joined the Navy at 16 and after 8 years ended up in the Northwest living in Montana. For the last 23 years he has lived in Hauser, Idaho. Alan was a talented musician who enjoyed sharing this passion with all. However, his first love was always his family. He is survived by his wife, Bobbye, of 43 years; daughters Kay and Toni; son-in-laws Hans and Chuck; sons Ray and Alan; daughters-in-laws Chris and Dorie; granddaughters Kristen, Chelsea, Dakotah and Jaycie; grandsons Lynn, Branden, Derek, Tyler and Sam; and great grandson AJ. The service will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home & Crematory in Post Falls, Idaho on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
